Re: Which G. Loomis GLX Dropshot Rod
I can’t comment about the GLX rods, but i do own a couple NRX 822DSR rods. Besides drop shoting with them, I also use them for darterhead fishing. I like the action of the rods for lightweight open hook techniques.

Re: Bantam1, can we get a flipping reel please?
You're part of a small group that asks for this. The new reels have a two way clutch design on the clutch button. I think this is the direction they want to go since the flipping reels historically were not huge selling reels. The Core 100MGFV was probably the best we ever offered. It lived a short...

Bantam1, can we get a flipping reel please?
Hoping you guys release a flipping and punching reel with Instagage clutch similar to the original Castaic but with today’s lighter/low profile/high speed/more power reel platform.
Please?
Thanks in advance!

Rod and reel storage in between trips
Looking for suggestions. Mostly towards reels.... How do you store your rods and reels between long periods of use? Do you just keep on rack and let it gather dust or do you have a storage solution? I’ve seen soft sided Cabelas and BPS reel cases. Ever try those? It doesn’t help that I own more comb...

Simple. Kistler MAD 8’ This is the Mark Daniels signature rod. Mark was a local here at the CA Delta prior to moving to AL to chase the BASS tour. It’s designed with a mod fast action which keeps fish buttoned in heavy cover and also aids in casting the baits you listed. If it wasn’t for Mark’s des...

Re: 13 Omen Black 2 H?
I followed a post on BBC about terrible QC and lacking customer service from 13 fishing. It’s made me leery and I own 4 of their rods from Omen to Envy series. Based on their lack of follow up I would consider other options.

Bought 2 reels and a rattle bait lure lot from bassbandit. Communication was spot on. Products were exactly as described. Items came packaged very well, no issues there either. Great seller and I would buy again in a heartbeat.

A rod ahead of its time
Back in the early 90's Fenwick introduced their TechnaAV rods. Sadly they got cheapened in their product line and ultimately discountinued. But the first generation of that graphite, to me and a few friends that still use them, rank as being ultra sensitive and perhaps the most available then. The r...

MBR 783C GLX that my wife, then girlfriend, bought for me as a gift. Too much sentimental value to ever give up. Everything else I own is replaceable.

Re: NRX for Skipping wacky worms - HELP NEEDED
My personal opinion, for weightless wacky worms, you're better off with a spinning rod. Of the three NRX spin rods I own, my first choice would be the 852s. Since you already have and want to try a shorter rod, consider the 822SYR. The 822SYR is a sleeper of a rod in my opinion. It's got the lively ...

Lexa 100 baitcast reel in 4.9:1 gear ratio for a-rigs and dead of winter swimbaiting. Okuma rods and 6:1 Lexa reels for trout trolling. $4 bargain bin Bill Lewis Rattle traps $2.99 Berkley Havoc Pit Boss plastics Trilene XL for crappie and trout spin rods. Can't beat the price and performance of the...

Re: Is anyone else dissapointed in Icast '17?
I'm most curious about the Shimano "Over 8" Expride in the flipping and cranking models. Conquest rods, though still to be determined, is diminishing returns for their price point. Already fishing with a fleet of NRX so the gains probably don't outweigh the cost. Will let early adopters use and repo...
