Re: Need advice on spool and bearings for T3-1016

Honestly, the stock spool from that T3 is pretty excellent for the 3/8-1oz range. The new ZPI spools are pretty hard to find now. The Zillion SV spool is also excellent, and easier to source, but the price has gone up due to popularity I think. https://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_page=product_inf...

Hoe Many oz is that Bait
I want the Reel for 5 oz. Is there a better choice?
The Arashi is 3.5 oz. I think for 5 oz. you would be better served with a larger reel, Tranx, Lexa, etc.

NOT a Good Reel For 5 oz lures?
I want one to throw 1/2 oz to 3 1/2 oz baits.
I use mine for the Storm Arashi, no problems so far.

If you get a Bantam I’d strongly consider upgrading the handle to a longer one. The Bantam comes with an 84mm only by default. The Tranx 200 has a 102mm handle, the Curado K 200 at least a 90.
Japan Tackle has an Avail handle, gunmetal 105mm, a great match for the Bantam, just sayin'

Bump for anything new especially with the 7’4” ?
I love my 7'4 heavy, I use it for jigs and other bottom contact lures and the sensitivity is out of this world
Hey norbi, welcome! JEEZ! Do I wait for the new NRX, or just go ahead a snatch up that 7'4" Heavy... ](*,)

I would go for better balance, torzites, and a full carbon fiber grip. It is 2020 after all.

Re: Is Daiwa becoming a Tatula???

Wonder if the line guide from the 12 Antares would fit in the Bantam? Bantam already has the conical line guide but suffers from the shorter spool to line guide aspect than other reels. Indeed it does, the line guide in the Antares just looked bigger. If you center the line guide on the Bantam befo...

Re: Is Daiwa becoming a Tatula???

Cone shapped line guides are perfectly fine. Few guys now modifying Bantam MGL line guide cones into older reels - I did do a post on this a while back with little input but it seems to be taking off... Just imagine a cone guide in any baitcaster and it's benefits. Wonder if the line guide from the...

The Tackle Trap has the 2020 Daiwa Tatula SV TW 103, good all around reel. Add in the TT10 discount and save an extra $.

Had the MB T3 Viola out for a bit the other day, forgot how good of a caster it is. The 3D is very handy if the wind conditions change.

Initially I thought about a core 100 with tws
A Bantam MGL with TWS would be a monster!

Pretty sure EMS uses commercial flights for small package transport, not too many flights of late.
UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL, have a private cargo fleet.
