Re: 13 Fishing Teardrop

That is cool. I wonder, though, if we're going to see yet more reels built on the same platform as the Abu Garcia/Lew's/Bass Pro Shops/Pflueger baitcasters. Good question. Would love to see something innovative rather than iterative. Unfortunately, I'd be willing to bet 100/1 we're just getting mor...

Re: Kistler Customer Service... WOW!

My 6'9" Magnesium MH/F casting rod was my first attempt into the higher end tackle, and I loved that rod until I broke the tip off in my rod locker. I replaced it with a current version of the same rod, and while it's not nearly as good as the original version I had, it's still perfectly fine for m...

Re: Daiwa Project T

Why does the price have to be high for it to be 'enthusiast' quality? Seems like an awesome reel, especially if its going to retail for 150-200. Anyone know the exact differences between the type r and regular besides the faster ratio?

Re: Kistler Customer Service... WOW!

Thought the title was a joke, Kistler hasn't been known for their CS in the past. Agreed. They have a pretty bad rep on the 'net. And I knew that going into buying a custom NFC rod from them earlier this year. My experience with them was nothing short of horrible, and I'm left with a rod they refus...

Re: Kistler Customer Service... WOW!

Honestly I have no experience with the company prior to these purchases. I'm really not familiar with al the issue sthey had with the past.

Pretty happy with the way i've been treated so far and they will receive more of my business in the future.
