Curado 70XG drag & spool tension coming loose
Hello, I have a Curado 70XG and notice that if the drag is not locked down, it tends to work it's way loose on its own really quickly. I'm also having the same issue with the spool tension knob, it gets very loose on own quite frequently. Any input is greatly appreciate.

Has anyone fished this yet, or seen video of the action?

Re: Sunline BX2 braid
I tried the 50lb and did not like it. Strong line, but lost its color quickly and had a thicker diameter than other 50lb braids. Reminded of powerpro slick 8. I will stick with FX2 which I am very happy with.

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods
Doing some floor bend tests, the addermine seems slightly less powerful and has a little slower taper. They are fairly close in power/taper but from what I can see the addermine is slightly less powerful. Hello, would you say the Addermine has a true extra-fast action, despite being a little slower...

Another vote for jerkbait - Last week I caught a bunch including a 4lb brown trout on a Megabass Vision 110 Jr.

Re: Megabass S Crank 1.2 vs 1.5?
On average, I tend to catch more on the 1.2. On days when I'm catching a bunch on the 1.2, I will throw the 1.5 as well and I will catch some on it, but in general seem to get fewer bites.

I've had great success with the 110 Jr., it is definitely worth the coin. Catches everything that swims.

Re: SX1 vs TX1 / FX2 vs BX2
FX2 has been my favorite heavy braid for a long time and I've tried many. Was excited about BX2, and have used it for a month or two. It is smoother, but the color faded quickly and was never that dark to begin with. The BX2 line diameter seems thicker to me as well...I didn't measure it, just going...

Re: Favorite jig for stroking
The Structure jigs in general are excellent. I've caught so many big fish on them, and I do believe the head design offers an advantage. Flatter/Thinner profile so a thick chunk of lead does not blow their mouth open on hookset, and comes through cover pretty well. Hookups have been very good too an...

Re: Curado 70XG first... And second impressions
How do you guys like it compared to the 50e? It had some big shoes to fill but I think it does it quite well. Palms a little better, a little lighter, more gear options, and the brakes are more adjustable. It's more of an evolutionary step forward instead of a revolutionary change. I agree w/Bootyt...

Re: Jackall Adrena
Sensitivity is very good, I've been fishing jigs on it…but it is not as sensitive as NRX, which is in a league of its own.Frosty wrote:How does it fish compared to the NRX? Is it pretty close in sensitivity?
On the 7'6" I believe the 2 piece the blank connects just above the foregrip locknut.

Re: Jackall Adrena
Thanks guys, I was hoping for a little bit better with that 7'4 having a longer handle and designates as flip/pitch. That's nowhere near my 745 HP Dobyns and closer to an NRX. If it had a full cork handle like the Dobyns, the balance point might be similar. For what it's worth, the Adrena 7'4" does...

Re: Chatter baits
The Shock Blade is excellent. Very high quality bait, realistic finish, great colors, and sizes up to 2 ounces. It can be fished at variable speeds and still run true. It does not hunt on a straight retrieve. The main difference you will see with the Shock Blade vs. Project Z is that it stays down a...

Re: Rod Weights
All of the Poison Adrena weights are listed on the Shimano Japan site, and I've found them to be very accurate. The 1610ML is listed at 115 grams.Mothercanucker wrote:Anyone weigh a 6'10 ml Poison Adrena?
I have a Poison Adrena 7'4" Heavy, Fast Pitch/Flip
174H-PF
It weighs 4.9 oz
