Don't do it. It's the only advice I can give. If you have to do it, look into a product called cerakote used for painting Guns.

I agree, both exceptional reels. The difference for me was the amount of time I planned on using the reels. I couldn't justify letting 350.00 reels sit in my rod lockers hoping to get some use out of them. CI4+ gets my vote.
