Re: Seaguar Red Label
I fished with 12lbs and 14lbs, and they cast very well! Never had an issue with casts. The lines gets crimped with backlashses but still casts flawlessly. Stretch was minimal when I got hung up in rocks still haven't lost a fish with line breaking. Line memory seems very bad at initial spool but onc...

Re: Ima Squarebill
Here they are. These look awesome and pics do not do these baits justice! They come rubber band tied to kep those owner hooks from snagging your fingers. I personally think the "pacman" eyes complete Ima lures in some odd way..   My fav...which I should of gotten an extra as back up,...

LOL! Noticed his posts and thread are all caps...
Anyway it looks promising but I think I'll wait for more reviews before I commit to buying one. Although TT review is fair enough maybe more reviews I guess.

Re: Luck E Strike Rick Clunn CB:
Old news.
I was going to order some Luck E strike's when I put in my order for the Ima square bills but I only found two colors that I like and passed. Don't need anymore unwanted/unused tackle laying around.

Re: Good Cranking Reel?
What reel speed ishould i use if i will be throwing jerkbaits, CBs, topwater, and lipless CBs? I throw jerkbaits on a normal/high speed reel. 6.4:1 or 7.3:1. Not to mention what you want is too broad, if that's the case I'd go with the in between reel speed "6". My Abu setup is my all around setup,...

Re: Who knows better? KVD or Clunn?
I can feel the issue on the rod situation but I think line and presentation also plays a role too. I mean I'm like a gazillion miles away from Clunn and KVD as far as fishing wise but I also match the lines with my action rods. I use braid or floro for Moderate action rods and I use mono for the F t...

2. Megabass 110, any color! especially the natural colored ones, and Matte Tiger Agreed! My arsenal of 110's has expanded beyond what I wanted but I can't help the fact the these work all year round. If you don't want to spend too much money. Get yourself two 110's. Slow float Hi Ito Wakasagi and a...

Re: Why is the Veritas white?
I would only assume for attention....not much white rods out there. Yes none of the Abu reels compare or can come close to white but this goes with the Vegeance series as well. Yeah the STX is orange but it's mainly silver with orange and the orange doesn't even match it. Also I don't see too...

Re: Okuma Spinning reels?
not sure about the sinning reels but I bought a Citrix as a cheap cranking setup to take to the rivers and I can hear the bearings....I'll have to take it to my buddy to relube the entire reel and see what happens. I mean the 7.3:1 ratio is great for price point but at that price point I would expec...

Re: Ima Squarebill
I ordered a few on Sunday when TW had them. I'm loyal to them so I didn't order anywhere else until they carried them. I'll take pics when they are in on Wednesday. $5, 2 day ship FTW! I think I shop there too much, goos thing paypal doesn't say TW or else the wifey is gonna ban me from there. :big ...
