Megabass moving lip technology
Has anybody used one of the Megabass lures that use the MLT? Does it work as advertised? How about the action? I'm particularily interested in the Vision 110 FX application. From the looks of things, I won't be trying it out myself for another month as winter seems to be hell bent on hanging on for ...

BigTurtle, why don't you go do some reading in the Maintenance & SuperTuning Q&A forum? You'll not only find the specific answer to your question, but all kinds of great info on reel maintenance in general.

Beyond Spybaiting: DUO Realis Jerkbait 100SP
Wolbugger, could you please specify what the water temperature was when you compared the suspending abilities of the DUO vs Megabass vs Luck-E-Strike? Since most suspending lures will rise, suspend or sink depending on the water's temperature, I think an evaluation should always include said tempera...

Re: The Search For One : Guess Who's Back Building Rods?
Surprise, surprise: "the balance is quite extraordinary". A coincidence that this rod's a full grip (like the MBR783C GLX2000 that's also superb)? I think not. All the PR guano in the world won't change the laws of physics!

Re: Redefining a Classic, the Lew’s BB1 Baitcaster
Sorry to hear about your friend, Zander, and many thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed answer under those conditions. I'm sure you'll "forgive" me for still being obsessed with distance, as I'm stuck on shore and any extra distance I can get is a godsend. As a matter of fact, most of ...

Wow! 70 YARDS without breaking a sweat? With two brakes on? Are you sure? What rod and lure? Maybe you should run an article on your distance casting secret(s)!

Re: Floating braid?
KCL, how about the number of years during which just about ALL the pros were saying fluoro line had little or no stretch? Heck, I just read an article repeating this nonsense again. You'd think a line's stretch would be easy to determine the first time you got hung up if you were the least bit atten...

F&F, you'll find all the info you want (and then some) in the "Shop Talk ‹ Maintenance & SuperTuning Q&A" forum. Just use the "search" function of the board when you get there.
