Someone tested the new aldebaran performance yet ? It look promising, I would love to ear some reviews ! I've had a few casts with it.I think for now it's the best out of the box BFS caster of all of what I've fished (T3 Air, Aldebaran BFS XG 2012, Aldebaran BFS XG Limited 2015, Abu Revo LTZ). Only...

I had an adapter made, and needed to make a spacer as well, as the star drag didn't turn. Now it has under a mm clearance. over the star drag

I also wanted to get the KTF spool, but AVAIL didn't sell the braking system separately from the honeycomb spool, so I ended up with the Avail spool.

Great work! I just had a MHX Gen 2 Dropshot rod done with a Fuji VSS grip with the nut down like your Avid redo. The Fuji cork foregrip for the VSS is a little long for my medium hands. Am curious, because I want to get my own, and am oscilating between this and the Hedgehog ported one(the Hedgehog seems to have very little line capacity, and would lean towards this one)
