No I did not try to tap deeper and use a longer screw however I might try that. I found the stock handle on Tackle Trap for $112.99

Some how the threads for the knob on my handle stripped and I cannot screw in the knob. I tried to tap it with out success. I am needing a replacement handle and looking for suggestions.

Have an orange pixy that has acquired some rash over the years. I'm wanting to have it custom painted. I'm wanting the white pearl color the GM uses on the new Cadillac's and Denali's. Any suggestions on how to get this accomplished? Should I contact a painter at a GM dealership and offer cash?
