Agreed, these are really good rods at that price point. I own a casting and a spinning, love them both, as I'm sure you will as well.

Re: Bass Pro "the Egg" users?

I have a couple in both sizes, I like them, not my favorite but a good bait. They displace a lot of water and put out a bunch of noise, so definitely specific to certain times.

Retail is tough, I own a retail store, and i applaud Mark for coming on here to at least post an apology and offer his CELL #. There always 3 sides to every story, mine, yours, and the truth, so I accept that whenever there is a disagreement with a customer, and sometimes you just get the customer y...

Re: Auction site gems

Heres what I scored a few weeks back.. Everything was flawless.. Came with Box, Papers and The Reel Cover. Its still in great condition. There is a few light scratches near the back, but you cannot notice them unless you actually take a look at the back of the reel. Everything was as described, smo...

Re: JB Custom "Baby Snake" rod opinions

I have dealt with John and own one of his rods, and would be in the market for another if I needed it. He executes superior customer service, and the rod I have that he built for me is top class. I specified exactly what I wanted, and he customized it for me, no problems. I own 15 different rods, an...

I usually don't make it up that way, but i have hit Kelly's falls a couple of times, and Massebesic many times, as well as some other small ponds in Manchester, Dorrs, Nutts, but I stick mostly south. I do Cobbetts tons, Canobie a lot, Big Island when it's not getting crushed, and many other spots t...

I emailed them as to ...
