Re: Forgive me daiwa

Hi there, I used both Daiwa and Shimano top of their products, I switched definitively to Shimano after I got busted in 3 consecutive trips to Brazil for peacock bass and 1 trip to Mexico for largemouth. Re: Trip to Japan

Its been a while since i had the opportunity to visit Japan. Its an unbelievable place to shop for tackle. Tokyo was our destination and i did visit Mount Fuji. I didn't get to fish however there were tackle shops on every corner. Learn to use the transit system and be careful.

Picked up a TDZ100ML and could use the Zillion HLC spool. Stuffed in CVZ203L 5.1:1 gearing, Hopefully trying this weekend...

Re: Braid with leader for crankbaits

It depends on the cover. Heavy wood cover i would use fluorocarbon or heavy mono. Fishing deep water cover i would use a combination of braid with a fluorocarbon leader. Using braid only is an easy way to lose expensive baits when fishing heavy wood cover.

Reels, not so.

This spool structure has fewer parts and handles heavy loads when cranking. Its supported by three bearings. Right?

Re: So...I did a thing...

The utralight ugly stick 7' foot medium light is inexpensive but very durable and will handle 1/8 ounce baits. It provides fly rod like action if you hook Mr Big Stuff....lol

Re: Abu Garcia WTF's

Well I guess the reaming is almost over.................I might have to buy a MGXtreme 2 on eBay. Get a JDM LV7. Smaller reel, and better overall for light baits. What about the new Daiwa-Bait-Reel-Black-Bath-Steeves-SV-TW-1012SV-XH Would this one work well in Russia or China? https://www.ebay.com/...
