Re: You can only take one ….

chasing primarily smallmouth and walleyes, id choose a 3.2" swimbait that i make and an assortment of jigheads. i fish them from early spring through late fall and catch fish everywhere i go on them. also you can use them in a pinch when the tail gets bittin off as a ned rig!

Re: Major Craft Days 360

Digitaka has a few models of these in stock, right around the 290 price point (around 350 with the oversize charge), they dont have the 610 light spinning model right now, though unfortunately!

Re: Megabass 2023 Orochi X 10 rods

Link in the first post, scroll down. They are indeed quite weighty just going by the numbers they arent the lightest rods i have seen but it will really depend on the balance, the Flyssa wasnt a light weight by any means, at around 4.5oz doe a 2.5 power spinning rod, but was perfectly balanced with...

Re: Major Craft Days 360

seems that the prices have doubled from the existing Days series It appears so, but fwiw the better blank, titanium framed guides and the few extra glamor pieces make it more like a reincarnated msx than than a days series rod. I was thinkin' the same too. I wonder if they'll make other bass lines ...

Re: Megabass 2023 Orochi X 10 rods

These Megabass rods sure look sexy, but they are really heavy for a 40000 yens rod. I haven't seen weights yet. Where are seeing the weight? https://www.megabass.co.jp/site/tag/2023-new-products%E3%80%90bass%E3%80%91/ The offical page got much more details dont see anything about the rod weights in...

Re: 23 Airity coming soon

Does anyone know when they will be released in Japan and what the prices will be? Lots of information including date of release and the table at the bottom has MSRP pricing for each new model at the far right. Link: https://www.lurenewsr.com/245613/ Thanks for the link. So it looks like it has the ...

Re: Have you preordered a mb p5 destroyer?

any idea on how long the delay will be with the Flyssa? i broke mine last spring (my fault) and am super excited to get a new one when they come out! Flyssa, Addermine, and Javelin are expected "Summer 2023" at this point. I was out on the water today with 6 casting models and enjoyed my time thoro...

Re: Have you preordered a mb p5 destroyer?

The good news is that some models will begin shipping to dealers within the next week or so. The bad news is the Flyssa, Addermine and Javelin models will be delayed a bit. any idea on how long the delay will be with the Flyssa? i broke mine last spring (my fault) and am super excited to get a new ...

Re: anybody have any info on a new 2023 Shimano Vanquish?

Agreed!!! The current Vanquish is still awesome, But..... a super light reel with some new Stella technology would be amazing!!! that kind of already exists in the Excense, maybe not as lightas the vanquish but at 180 grams the c3000m is only 10 grams heavier that the c3000 vanquish. i habe a c3000...

Re: Do You Use Spinning Reels?

i use spinning reels exclusively, i dont fish much for big bits and spinning reels fit my needs perfectly. also use braided line on all of them, either 10-15lb seaguar smackdown or 13-15lb sunline defier d-braid, rarely have any issues with line management, if you pay attention its a rare thing.

Re: Your favorite Megabass series?

for me it was the usa destroyers, though i never got around to getting an x7, which i definitely regret! i loved my usa destroyer flyssa, more than the p5s i have (windbuster and baby pugging), and the phase 3 aaron martens limited, if just barely! the original orochi xx was a great series as well, ...

Re: St.Croix Legend Xtreme

i have a 7'3" mlxf legend xtreme, i like it a lot. it was a kind of sort of replacement for my broken flyssa (my fault!) very sensitive, not the lightest rod ever but it balances great with a c3000m shimano excense, and its not exactly heavy either. i find myself using it more than the 7'6" steez mm...

Re: Favorite Spinning Reel?

Sometimes I regret not trying a Certate... but at the moment I really enjoy the new Stradic FL. I fish spinning reels a good amount and I feel like for $150 JDM an aluminum, rugged Stradic FL is hard to beat. Could buy 2 for the price of one Certate. I would really be fine with using all old Stradi...
