Re: Megabass Orochi XX... What’s next for the USDM??

Do any of the higher power (F7 and up) casting models have the longer trigger? I remember my xxx Destruction had a longer trigger than the Chimera. If anyone has an answer it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Megabass online store??

Thanks for the info as well. I usually wear a small/medium and was wondering if the medium would fit :-k I highly suggest getting a large if youre between small - medium. Again theyre undersized, and the material is pretty thick. If youre a small, I would think a med would work; it might be tight o...

Re: Megabass online store??

Thanks for the replies. My next step was to reach out to Gary. Just looking at some accessories, so not sure if he can source or not. What are you looking for exactly? if you dont mind me asking? A Megabass jacket/hoody!!! There are a few on eBay, but they are over priced. It's not the end of the w...

How does the reel seat feel on the Racing Design? I was checking them out and that was the one thing I wasn't too sure about.

Agree with the St. Croix suggestions however if you want to stay at your budget the Kistler He3s are worth looking into as well.

Re: Sustain FI Question

Thanks, I haven't used the reel yet, it is fresh out of the box. I was wondering if it just needed to be broken in a little and would go away with some use too but not sure if i should risk it.

Sustain FI Question

Hi Bantam1, I just received my Sustain 2500 FI from TW and when giving it the handle spin, notice there is a "buzzing" sound on the retrieve like you can hear the gears or a bearing or something. Is this normal? My other Shimano spinners (Stradics, Stella) don't make this sound. Not sure if I need t...

Re: Cork on megabass rod, what’s your thought

I've noticed this as well and I think the same maybe can be said for Japanese rods in general as I see the same thing on my Evergreen and MajorCraft rods. Perhaps the type or source of cork is different? My Loomis and St Croix rods have much "cleaner" cork also despite being used more often.

Re: U40 cork sealer on rubberized cork

I have only been able to fish the rod a couple times but the sealer has held up great. It sticks on there and absorbs/dries just as does on regular cork grips from my experience and is not slick at all. It does darken it a little also as it can on some cork handles. Hope this helps!

Re: Phenix Feather

Picked up the 6'9" MH extra fast casting rod for a do it all rod when fishing with friends and I have only been able to use it once but I really like it. I have heard Phenix rods generally fish lighter/softer than their ratings which was what I was hoping for when I ordered and I think that holds tr...
