Re: Pixy/Pixzilla still relevant...
Never see much mention of the PX type R. Pretty much a Pixzilla straight from the box. By far the best Pixy variant. Just that it wasn't JDM and retailed at $500 and never took off. The spool might have been an too heavy for light stuff but a spool swap can solve that. One I wish I had. Pretty much...

Re: Tdz 103h spool stuck
Sometimes the bearing gets stuck in the frame and it takes some force to pop it out. Pushing up on the side of the spool with both your thumbs generally gets it out.

It's a bit big and heavy for standard duty applications, but when it comes to swimbaits there isn't a better lowpro out there.Johnny A wrote:Ehh, ~~. Z2020 is a very good non-bass reel but a forced square peg bass reel.papabassin wrote:Fish the Z2020 & you'll know why people want a Z1016

So it's not a Doyo based reel then? =D> My force powers must have been off. Darkside or trickery got me. Unless it DOES turn out to be Doyo produced. Those specs, and especially that phrase "Double Anodized 32mm Duralumin spool" got me good. As previously mentioned, the odd ratio, and a few other t...

Re: Abu Garcia WTF's
Wow........Im still using the original Revo STXs that were released back in 2007. That was and still is the best release of a low profile reel ever....IMO..............I use all the brands conquests and tdzs and their great reels. However when it comes to cranking power and torque no one can match ...

Could be TRS 100p zillion http://japantackle.com/daiwa-trs100p.html But I'm with the other guys, leaning 50th zillion. Interesting that it appears to have newer style paddle knobs :-k :-k :-k (On what looks like a straight handle at that...) TRS only comes in right hand so that rules it out. I'd wa...
