Just bought a used fuego and the collar on the spool was off and stuck in the break. Does this normally come off of the spool or do I need to replace the spool?

Who have three cumara's that I've had for at least 5 years and the eyes are worn. Is it worth it to replace them or should I buy new rods? I would like to ship them somewhere and have a decent set of micro guides installed.
