Re: Sub 2oz, Booyah.

You should pair it with the new Exist at 5.46oz (155g) and have a combo under 8oz

I really like them. The price is right and the looks are superb, now what blank it has is the only other concern.

I would recommend the Ride 115 with those requirements.

Re: ICAST 2012 Rods

Everything about them sounds/looks great except for the rubber skin handles, why not just do EVA? The rod sack is a nice addition as well.

Re: Handle length of the Rattle Viper & Black Elseil Please

Handle length is my biggest gripe with Megabass. The only other thing I don't like about them is they don't come with spiral wrapped micros. But what manufacturers do? My Diablo has over a 10" handle and I find it just a tad excessive, in my opinion a 9.5" handle is perfect for just about anything o...

Maybe they don't sell enough of the CC to warrant a price increase?

Re: One reel I want to use but I can't

All those dream reels inside my head that don't exist, the 2012 Exist 1000 shallow spool, the Megabass Lin 10.

Re: Jackson Coosa or Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120?

Before anybody can answer with insightful information some questions need to be asked first.

1: what kind of water are you fishing? Salt, lakes, rivers, etc?

2: how much do you weigh?

3: how much space do you need?

4: how important is stability or speed to you?

Get an old Alpha and stick an Alpha 105 spool or Megabass spool on it and go fishing.

Re: Daiwa I-CAST Rumors ???

Yeah I know. I just wish they would have changed the red spool to black. In my opinion red spool just doesn't look right on this reel, it's almost incentive enough to just get the T3 rather than the Ballistic. Who knows, maybe I will get over it and get me one. Good to see Daiwa smartened up though ...

That Ballistic doesn't look half bad, just still hate the red spool though.

Re: RYOGA or Morrum ZX 3600

My Ryoga is very smooth. Both reels are tanks, but I would recommend the 1016. I have small hands and the Ryoga is a very comfortable reel.
