Re: Pucker Factor 1000

Glad to see you pulled through this one! Yeah man me too Kinda pissed at myself but I’m alive and lessoned learned Even if I got the protection plan I would only be able to exchange parts even get some of my money back. Without the plan I get a inshop credit. But why do I need to give them money to...

Pucker Factor 1000

I was feeling really good about myself. I had three $50 bills in my wallet for a little bit. I don’t normally carry cash but this little experiment really felt good. I took a trip to a junkyard for some parts and it came out to be $130. I installed one of the parts which was a good for my truck. It ...

I think the majority of fertilizer pollution, and also insecticides, come from commercial farms and ranches. While I'm sure residential use is also a factor, just look at the volume of these chemicals used in agriculture.
Extremely good point!

Let’s talk about Grass

I love to see a green yard but I refuse to put my money in the ground. Environmentally speaking I think all the chemicals people use to make their lawns look so fantastic is harmful in some way to the environment. I look at it like supplements, what your body doesn’t use you will get the excess out ...

Re: 6'10 Expride and I.

Good explanation, goldrod! More than anything I just wanted to hear your side of the story, because like you said, a lot of people seem to like the rod, but you aren't a big fan, so I wanted to know why. It might be that some people come out of the woodwork to say they felt the same but couldn't ex...

I have all mine in individual plastic cases (hedgehog style) but the sheer number of spools is beginning to make it difficult for me to quickly find relevant spools...eventhough I have writte...

If you thought it was too soft, I doubt the 7'2H Expride would be stiff enough for you. Just get the 7'3XH... it comes highly recommended for frogging from the homies at TBassin. :) I got mine over BF and yes, it is a fairly stiff rod, but it is impressively balanced with a Bantam. It is my longest...

Re: TDZ for Bottom

I've used mine for bottom contact with 20lb fluoro. No problems at all with the drag (carbontex). It seems I get more fish with 6.3:1 than a faster reel, probably because it forces me to slow down. That said, I use my td-z's for ikas, Senkos, squarebills and spinnerbaits. Don't get my wrong 7-10:1 ...
