Re: The Offseason Changes Continue!

All about the money. If you have ever read about Shimano/Daiwa sponsorship, it seems Daiwa and many other companies are a much better deal. Shimano seems to be more interested in anglers on YouTube and social media now. Maybe the better deal. I’m thinking a connection to a younger generation is muc...

Re: NRX 873cc

Goldrod, yeah i can comment on all of them. like i said i had the 873 nrx, it was incredibly light and oh so super sensitive. Without a doubt the NRx rods are some of the most sensitive rods on the market, but to me i guess what drove me away was what i said the balance, fit and finish. i feel for ...

Re: New Poison Adrena models listed on TW

Wondering about the 7'4 model myself - it's listed as regular/fast taper. Will it be more of a flipping stick or something more moderate for big reaction baits? I would think it is as powerful as the 73XH Expride but less of a pool cue. So probably along the lines of a shorter flipping stick, as yo...

For the Steez owners
Do you prefer it more for plastics or hardbaits or both?

Sometimes I’ll have two of the same rods but one reel with a higher ipt than the other.

Re: NRX 873cc

It’s my 3/8 and 1/2oz jig rod, also 5/16 and 3/8oz t-rigs, bigger Keitechs. It is tip-heavy with a 13 Met, feels much better with a rubber chair leg cover on the butt. 30lb Sunline XP Asegai to 20lb Seaguar Blue Label bank fishing on Lanier’s rocky bottom. Thanks It’s now off the list. Had to balan...

Re: New Poison Adrena models listed on TW

I see they’ve added a 6’10m glass model, 7’2m, and a 7’4H action to the lineup. Release date is March 21. I have the previous gen 7’2m & it’s a great vision 110 rod for me in the winter, then in the summer a awesome weightless fluke rod. The 7’4H is the rod I’m most interested in. Not saying I have...
