Re: Scott Suggs MLF Mystery Bait?

The bigger versions of this bait made it's legend for stripers and it was adapted for bass in southern impoundments. I have an old article somewhere in Bass Master/IIRC, about how this is still a popular and effective technique that is still used with much success down south. I recall reading an art...

Re: Gotta give props to JPAngler

Order in "processing" might mean that the item was not in stock and will ship when they receive it. FWIW, communications and speed of shipping 13 Certate 2510R-PE was great. I received my Certate in less than a week, even with having to deal with the Christmas season! Ordered on Dec. 19th, 2014 and ...

Re: Shimano Core 100?

I owned the Met MG7 within weeks of it becoming available back in 2007...it is a very versatile form factor in both JDM and USDM formats.

Try it, you will likely not be disappointed.

Re: The reason for recoils

The Torzite guides groove. We found that while performing tests in the lab and on the water. I'm pretty sure we will not offer these guides on Shimano or G.Loomis rods. Yes they are light, but the material is not as hard as the SIC or even Alconite. We had high hopes for these guides. It was disapp...

same type of knobs as the Black Sheep too Yeah, that is a give away for sure...between this and 14/15 CQ 300/400, swimbaiters that want a very high-end RR will have lots to slobber over! Outstanding, a LH version will be available. Agreed Van, I'm also curious to see the specs of the new larger Con...

Re: Faster Conquests On The Way

Stupid Shimano!!!! I'm never going to be able to save for retirement!!!! Brian. LMAO!!! Round reels that can handle/cast braid better than any other I have ever used...and now "fast enough" hopefully for plastics, lipless, frogs, swimjigs, etc.!!! Those who bought the 14 CQ may regret. Btw no...

1st Gen Zillion exterior design = very slightly larger, heavier/more robust TD-Z platform. Comfy ergos is a no-brainer 8-)

Re: Share your basics for trophy bass fishing.

Many good points here! If I could be given the perfect opportunity each time I chose to 'wet a line', it would be when the barometer was low just before stormy weather. Something magical happens in that brief moment of opportunity - seems like the lake just comes alive. I'm getting pretty excited j...

Re: difference between spinning and casting blank

Coming from a blank manufacturer.. Everyone above is correct with one exception. Typically Spin blanks are a bit lighter on both action, blank weight, and power to their Casting brother.. Look at this tackle tour review: http://www.tackletour.com/reviewrainshadowrevs72sb.html This was built on a re...
