Re: Is This A Good Surf Rig or am I Way Out of My League Her
No it does not have to we use this to catch drum. Even after 10-12 drums using power casts it's fine to cast and fish again without retying. Yeah people think we're crazy but as long as you have tie the knot correctly you won't have any problems.

Re: Is This A Good Surf Rig or am I Way Out of My League Her
This is one of my favorite surf rigs. I use this rig most of the times when going for sturgeon's and large stripers.

Re: custom rod designed for my Presso
It's very detailed, I don't know if I'd be able to fish with that rod. It would be locked in cabinet somewhere with 3 security alarms.

Re: Stay Away from Suffix Elite Line
I never had problems with suffix tri plus. We went after stripers and sturgeons and never had a single problem breaking off. Although I have never used suffix elite, but based on the TT review seems like a decent product. It's probably a bad batch you may miss out on a good line.

I have to try that one day it looks good. Do you mix the fish paste with the fish sauce? Also how much of it do you add to each chunk.

Re: SURF spinning gear – which one can cast the farth
One thing I like to share with the 15' rods. Don't buy em unless your really fit they are extremely heavy to cast, and very uncomfortable. However yes you will cast further with it, but its stressing when u have to reel in that line and cast again. I don't use spinning gear, a friend of mine owns a ...
