Ok...What do you think of SLP Works pin remover? https://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/default/language/en/cPath/2174_2652_2659/optional-parts/daiwa-slp-works/slpw-spool-bearing-remover.html I believe it to be the same/similar one that KTF sells. It will probobly be the next one I get. I've heard goo...

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

I had some trouble using the old Hedgehog device for swapping bearings. Tried the BoCA plier for the first time yesterday and scratched the tip of the spool shaft that I was working on (ASC). Please, share experiences with bearing swap on these small spools - thx When your HH Pin Remover takes a di...

Received packages yesterday: Ostokset.JPG RCSB spool is litttle heavier than std. spool: SLP works puola.JPG KTF spool is nice and light: KTF puola.JPG Looking good and bravo for getting some micro bearings. I would throw one of those on the spool of the SLP and leave the IXA micro that came with i...

Half the fun of catching those fish, must be the delight of using those tweaked out combo's. Well done in Finlandia!

Thanks for the response and again, the great write up. I might have missed some of that information on my first speed read. You just cost me a five spot..thanks!

Re: One for the Enthusiasts: The Shimano Antares A70 Baitcaster with MGIII

Hard to please Danes aside  jkjk I thought this was one of the better TT reviews, possibly because I have been interested in this reel as my 2nd stab at owning a Shimano. It was great to see the internals and what constituted the 220 gram weight in such a small package. For me, I would be looki...

Re: Course of Action

If you did't buy the extended warranty :D I would just dry it out, dunk it in water and see where the leak is and try to repair it. Unless the dealer will send you another one, without you having to do anyting, not sure all that shipping is worth the hassle.

Re: New Calcutta Conquest coming?

I am wondering what they would even do to upgrade it? Add a MGL spool, the newest X-ship, the newest Micro-Module Gear?

Other than the DC mechanism and the MGL spool, the 2019 Calcutta DC 200 are pretty similar.

What would you like to see?

Re: ICAST 2019

I'd like to see the Steez A and Steez SV TW modified to where the mag dial is at the bottom of the palm plate, making it a more streamlined platform while still retaining the 34mm spool. If they needed to downsize the TWS to prevent the bulbus profile, I would be good with that too. And Jeez..$500-$...
