Re: 2019 Daiwa Morethan PE 1000 TW
Nice find! A big slap in the face for the doubters and misinformed speculators.... As an FYI, in a previous post the author of that teardown speculated that SH weight difference was due to an Aluminum gear. Should we have been smacking him around? https://uo-log.com/morethanpetwreview/ Hyper digige...

Re: HLC spool for 3/8 oz baits?
Most of the water I fish now is very clear. Long casts are imperative. The bait I use most, 3/8 One's Bug. Would the HLC spool be effective? Thanks The HLC (1514 anyway) will cast certain 3/8th ounce baits very well with the right rod. But not a 3/8th ounce lure with a lot of mass like the One's Bu...

Re: Mail Call
Finally got this handle installed...all I can say is Bigly (or Big League).. rsz_1bigly.jpg The nice thing about that handle is that the Battler/Poker combo now balances on the lockdown nut, it was very tip forward even with that reel at 8oz with line. Feels much better in hand now. On to the other...

Re: What’s your 2019 Rod to have?
I’ve been reading a bit about these rods: http://www.i-s-makers.com/products/rod/infinite-blade/ I became interested in this blend of carbon and glass after positive experience with varkarie. Seems like ISm might be doing something similar to what you’re describing for these new zephs. Congrats on ...

Re: Megabass Valkyrie Rods
I got the 7’1” heavy in and I’m glad I went in this direction for sure. I know someone mentioned that the adjustable handle seemed more of a gimmick and I think that it’s definitely not. IMHO the handle is what gives the rod versatility and balance. I put a Steez SV on it but not with an SV spool. ...
