Re: Shimano Calcutta 50XT Avail Spool
Unfortunately that is for the conquest 50/51 it does not fit the Calcutta 50XT the spool shaft is too short. I think I’ve looked at those ones but so far from Ali express they only have produced spools for the Conquest series of Calcutta’s, not the everyday run of the mill Calcutta’s the B, D, and ...

Re: Shimano Calcutta 50XT Avail Spool
AMO has a spool on Aliexpress. It requires a magnetic conversion they also sell. Looks to be super shallow though.

Re: Daiwa 200 Size W/ Dual Pinion Bearing Support
70m of 25# is 76 yards of big wiry mono. I would absolutely use a Z or Ryoga. Maybe even a Tatula 200 with a 153 spool get that sweet Magforce Z. I don't throw big baits but fixed inductor seems like a downgrade.

Re: 21 Levante Jerkbait Special or Orochi Black Elseil
Orochi xXx BE2? I have that one and fully intend to buy a Jerkbait Special Lavante as a replacement. The handle is way too long on the BE2 to be a dedicated jerkbait rod but it can certainly pull double duty. The BE2 hande is kinda long. Longer than even my 72M Zodias. I use mine as a lighter powere...

Re: Daiwa 200 Size W/ Dual Pinion Bearing Support
Luna 200? Ryoga Shrapnel? 1520 Ryoga if you consider that a 200. Its at least a 150 with the wide 36mm spool. The old gen tatula based Zillions also fall into this category with their line capacity such as the Zillion TW HD and Catalina TW.

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000
Looks like the new mag dial location is meant to be adjusted by the palmimg hand's index finder rather than the old design tbunb scroll.RMCatchNrelease wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 9:26 amCan you adjust the brakes on the fly with the new design?
Meaning, one handed bumb it up quickly to cast into the wind.

Re: 1016 spool
My stock LIN10 spools feel overbraked but that could be the magnets. MB reels sometimes have stronger magnets than the Daiwas they are developed from. My T3 1016 spool looks and feels like my LIN10 spools but it is a freak of nature broken spool that is unusablly wild in any reel except my LINs wher...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000
I'll take Booty on his word that 8 is the lowest he could go. He casts like me which is a very hard whip cracking like casts that favors centrifugal brakes. I think I mentioned it earlier in one of the 5 million pages in this thread. But yeah, with lighter pound fluorocarbon, I couldn't get the set...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000
There is a new Steez A HLC is you like HLC reel. 36 m too so it should fit the old Zillions. I really enjoy my TD Zillion HLC spool. Yes it is, and and I bet that this new Seetz A HLC is amazing reel. Probably I'm going to buy it. I have OG HLC Zillion which is great reel for bombarda / spinfluga s...

It's Bootytrain. He's a former member and huge Shimano fan boy. He used to get triggered all the time on here an BR so he created his own YT channel. He uses some of his own reels like his engetsu and claims a subscriber sent it to him. He does do budget BFS stuff and aliexpress parts which is good...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000
In case of distance casting with Mag-Z, in my opinion, HLC spring is needed. In distance casting spool revolutions are high and with standard spring inductor doesn't retract back in as it is designed to. However distances in fishing situations are not significant and birdnests are easier to make wi...
