Re: Need help locating Zillion TWS bumper

I want to pick up one the new Catalina TWS from TTT for use on my Hyuga 72H. I would need to locate the Daiwa factory purple parts for a Zillion TWS to replace the red parts on the Catalina. TTT only carries TD Zillion bumpers. I would like to find a right hand purple bumper. Shoot me an email with...

Re: —Daiwa Catalina TW 4.9:1–

I've only had a little time on the water with the Catalina TW so far, but I have one each 7.3:1 and 4.9:1 in left hand. I paired the 7.3:1 with a Megabass F6-72X Wild Bunch Carbon Head, 20# Sunline Supernatural Mono, and a Hog Farmer BFL Rig. The reel holds plenty of line and the casting distance w...

Thanks for the update. The Topcaster ML rods are phenomenal value for the money. I wish Kuying did a whole line of Topcaster rods. Honestly they feel like $150 rods for $50. No joke.

Fit the spool to the palming plate. Does the spool bearing seat into the palming plate?

Is it wrong that I want to put SLP purple parts on it and then mount it to my Hyuga 72H.

Re: Spool options for a RYOGA 1520H?

If the spool for the new Catalina comes up for sale then thay might be worth while. TTT is selling them for $210. I'm going to pick one up at that awesome price. It's a Zillion TWS with a shallower spool and a recessed mag dial.

Re: Base model

No idea but I like it. It is sort of reminiscent of the back bay special. It looks like a great flouro reel with that shallow spool. I like the mix of gloss black and satin unpainted Zaion plastic parts.

If everything is built to fair quality, that KK looks alright. I wish they had shown the braking system a little better though.
Its externially adjustable centrifugal.
