Re: Sunline Defier for jigs
D.R. Defier should be okay with jigs and weighted worms but with unweighted worms, senkos and wacky rigged worms you will lose a little on feel, control, and sensitivity than with the Sniper. I had a problem with my weightless worm reel a while back and had to switch it to a reel with Defier and the...

Re: KISTLER RODS MADE IN THE U.S. ANYMORE ?
Graphite plus rods are "Engineered, Designed and Inspected by our staff here in the good ol' USA while Hand Crafted by our factory trained and experienced rod technicians in China." That is a direct quote from the website. ;) First off, dont' take this the wrong way, I own 6 Kislter Heliums, and li...

Re: KISTLER RODS MADE IN THE U.S. ANYMORE ?
Hey Louis, Talked with Kistler 3 times today and here is the deal. Yes, the Graphite Plus series is now made in China with the Mg series rods. They had changed the info on the website but somehow the model you bought got over looked. It has now been corrected on the website, (they said, I haven't ch...

Re: KISTLER RODS MADE IN THE U.S. ANYMORE ?
It is probably an oversight in not fully updating the website, but it does plainly state all american made rod under his model number. I've already placed a call to find out what is up and will post what I find out in the morning!

Re: KISTLER RODS MADE IN THE U.S. ANYMORE ?
That is a Graphite Plus series and they were made here in the U.S. unless something has recently changed. I'll check on it tomorrow myself.

Re: KISTLER RODS MADE IN THE U.S. ANYMORE ?
The Magnesium Series is made in China, the rest are made in Magnolia, Texas. I am not, however going to get in the word game about the made or assembled stuff. I don't know where the blanks are rolled and neither does anybody else on here. Not going to argue speculation! Nope, not going to do it! Ab...

Re: Fluorocarbon Showdown Part 2
[quote="illinoisbassfishin"] All that being said and sunline supposed to be such a great product for the same price as most regular flouros I wonder how the sunline siglon stands up to say halo, regular p-line flouro, seaguar, or xps flouro? The Sunline Siglon is excellant for dropshotting and open ...

Re: Fluorocarbon Showdown Part 2
Some very good info there.. Esp. the stretch and recovery data. the main reason I use FC is the less stretch and smaller diameter, without having to resort to braid. Great job TT guys.. This is exactly why I switched to Fluorocarbon on my baitcasters guess FC seems to be the only fluoro on the mark...

Re: Kistler Rods: Guides and Reel Seats
The Batson reel seats in my Magnesium rods leave the reel loose. So there´s absolutely nothing good on having a rod where the reel is not sitting tight and in position, never had that problem with the Fuji reel seats in any of my other rods. Fuji has had that problem in the past, That's why Kistler...

Re: Japanese online shop
Hello, has anyone experience with this shop http://www.rakuten.co.jp/bass-infinity/index.htm . Looks like they have good prices, but they didn´t answer to my mails. If you know shops wich sell and ship international, please tell me more. This is the answer I got from my japanese friend: Hello Andy,...
