Re: Alphas 2019 vs 2017 model

On this German website a guy did compare the two: https://www.barsch-alarm.de/community/threads/testbericht-2019-alphas-ct-sv-70.41529/page-2 In a nutshell: the CT was better for lighter lures. Wow, that's awesome! I really want one of those. I'm still skeptical of that tiny little spool, but whate...

Re: BFS Calcutta Conquest - casting

Aldebaran BFS has same spool as Conquest BFS. Still new CT Steez surpassed BFS Shimano with stock spool. I’m sure the new steez cast light baits very well but I doubt it does as well as the Shimano BFS reels, but hey I could be wrong. Tested it myself. Same rod, same line, same lure. 2,6g cra...

Re: CFX Carbon Grips

Hi!

I've done dozens of rods with CFX grips. They are great quality. Forecast is not.
It isn't slippery if you left it "raw" surface. It's very durable even w/o coating.
Lightest of all grip material.

Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels

Just tested new CT Steez with hawgtech ceramic hybrid bearings. This reel surpassed Aldebaran BFS with two meters. Lure weights 2,6g. Aldebaran cast it 21m and CT 23m (84,5ft) !!

Re: Love to Steez

SV TW and CT TW are so new that i haven't fished with those yet. It's still winter here and my waters are frozen. Still i've tested those at yard and im VERY impressed about CT. Every weight i tested (2g, 4g, 5g, 11, 20g), it surpasses SV TW in casting distance. Tho SV spool isnt very long casting c...

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

Has anyone tried their CT with heavier lures yet? My all-around pond hoping rod is a 783c and I have tried about 6 reels on it and never found “the one”. The issue I have is that about 1/3 of the time I am casting/pitching a weightless Trickworm (1/4oz) and for another 1/3 of the time I am casting/...

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

Ok, so I have fished the reel on 4 different occasions. I threw a T-rigged trick worm w/ 1/16 oz bullet, a 3" Swing Impact on 1/15 and 1/10 oz Shroomz heads(ned head) and a weightless Super Fluke. I fished it on a Phenix Maxim 6-10 ML Mod-fast, a MC Go Emotion 6-7 ML BFS and a 6-5 UL MC Corzza. I a...
