Re: JPAngler

1 piece Megabass Destroyer X7, $34 shipped UPS. $14 USPS for 2 Reels, had them in 5 days. I also e-mailed a question and they answered in an hour, I e-mailed Lew's in Feb. and am still waiting on a response. Brian.

Re: JPAngler

I also thought there shipping charges were great. I use to hear horror stories of $100+ for a one piece rod, I paid $34 and had it in 4 days. Brian.

New Cumara vs. Crucial

Getting ready to purchase 2 new Casting Rods. I have several of the Cumara and Crucial Spinning rods. My question is; What are YOUR opinions on sensetivity of the blanks, HM1 vs. IM10 and is it worth the $100 difference in price? Thanks all, Brian.

Good fish, a bit thin. Love little sweet spots like those. Fish on, Brian.

Re: Why

She even lets me go to Fl., Tx., etc. for weeks on end. When I get the text" Honey, time to come home" I pack up and leave. She did catch her first Bass this summer, couldn't get her to hold it for a pic though, she's a bit girly. Brian.

Re: Why

I use 8 Lew's Team Gold's all tuned and they sit on custom Big Bear Rods. I like when I pick one up off the deck they all feel exactly the same and they didn't cost me a fortune. I've wanted a high end Combo to play with and my wife made it happen for my Christmas gift. She got me a LIN Black Jungle...

Re: Top 3 bearings

Cagey, I've heard plenty of people translate S-ARB as Stainless Anti Rust Bearing. Don't know if that's the true definition, but I do know ARB is a huge bearing manufacturer located in India. Brian.

Re: Anybody ever added weight to an unweighted swimbait hook

You can wrap the hook belly with lead wire, I've never done it, but I've seen it done. No idea where they get the lead wire though. Brian.

Re: Shimano JDM

I have and use 5-Complex 2500 F4 & 6, both ratio's. I have used them for 2.5 years now and they are the only spinning reels I own. They are as smooth or smoother then when they came out of the box. I've used friend's other high end reels and these give nothing up to those, some costing 3-4x's as muc...

One of my fishing partners has a NIB Calcutta CTE100GT he's going to move. Anyone use one and have an opinion? Thanks, Brian.
