Re: Tatula clicking mechanical brake
Which parts do you think would make it work? I'll start trying to source them now and see how it comes out. Do you have a Zillion or TDZ? You should be able to temporarily steal the parts from one of those. Just use the Cap from one and take the metal clicker out from the cast control or drag click...

Re: Daiwa tdz 100M US Trails?
$65 is a great price for this reel! Here's a little info from Japan Tackle's site: http://www.japantackle.com/Daiwa/Daiwa_TDZ_ML.htm

Re: Swapping inductors on TD-Z/Steez?
Digging up an old thread here, but I'm curious about something. I have a Steez 103 and a TD-Z 105 and I was thinking of swapping the inductor assemblies to make 103 size Steez a more friendly caster. Do I need to swap the magnet assemblies a well in order to fit the inductors? Will they fit into the...

Re: who's tuning reels?
e_bassfisher is pretty good from what I hear. I'm sending him a couple of reels in the next few weeks so I don't have any first hand experience with his work but judging from what other members have had to say, I'm looking forward to having my reels tuned by him.

Re: A few Daiwa spool questions
I just checked my reel and it's definitely a 103ML, even says so on the handle side plate I see what you mean about that plastic lip from the magnet housing too, I would probably never have noticed otherwise. Thanks for the help gents!

Re: A few Daiwa spool questions
Well if it's a 103 then I'll just put the Steez 100 spool in it since I already have a 1016 for the Steez. If not, then I'll be on the hunt for a spool. Thanks!

Re: A few Daiwa spool questions
I'm pretty sure it's a 103 but I'll have to look again to be sure. I'll also check to see if I can see a gap with the palm side plate on. If this is a TDZ 100, what would be a good spool for those 3/8 chatterbaits?

Re: A few Daiwa spool questions
Is there supposed to be such a comparably large gap between the sook and frame?

A few Daiwa spool questions
I picked up a Steez and a 103ML a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to look into them a little further. Upon pulling the spool out of the 103ML, it looks like it has a Steez 100 spool in it. Is that correct or is this a different spool altogether? The Steez is a 103HL and came with the correct ...

Re: Need help how to remove a rounded hex screw
If you're looking for high quality hex drivers, the R/C world has what you're looking for. Be sure you get some with machined tips though. Hudy, Dyanmite and MIP/Thorp all make great drivers. I believe MIP/Thorp might even have a lifetime warranty on theirs. http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/hex-wrenches...

That's exactly what I'll be using this season too. I'm going to use it as a leader for my spinner and buzzbaits too.ChrisD46 wrote:Sunline Super Natural #16lb. It has the diameter of other #12lb. monos , it is strong , floats high and easy to manage .
