Re: Which is your favorite rod company?

Gloomis, St Croix and Megasbass.

Can I have all 3 be my favorite?

Re: Need some spinning reel help

Go all out and get a Exist :big grin:

LT4000 would be my choice with that rod...

I don't think the sustain is really much better then a stradic by looking at the specs.

Also a Shimano Exsence 4000 would go awesome with a GLX.

Cleaned up my Curado K today and added a worm gear bearing. Reel is unbelievably smooth. So far its got ZPI spool bearings, 2 handle bearings per knob...

Re: Cranking rod

the backbone is twice as thick as graphite You mean the blank is twice as thick as graphite at the back end of the rod. This is always the case with glass. It's a different material and cannot be rolled as tight as graphite all through the blank. ;) I actually like how it looks. I was also correct,...

Re: Cranking rod

I have only had the legend glass for three weeks. Thanks for all your help. Please let us know what you think, coming from a previous non-glass fisherman. 8-) Got the rod today, its pretty sweet and she has a nice thick rear end (the backbone is twice as thick as graphite) the build is excellent an...
