Hi guys. I'am restoring an old r edition alphas and got donor parts from an old tdx 105HVL (the odd model that has the worm gear under the thumb rest) I have an issue on part 63. Based on my caliper its 27.3 and on my sol its 26mm. Its a 1.7mm diff thats causing the spool to be uneven and cant close...

Check the pinion - yoke - springs - posts - AR bearing basically the parts that make the main gear to spool engagement.
Might be some wear and tear on the parts or over/lack of lubrication.

Wait...He caught a bass using a ping pong racket ???
