Re: Baitcaster Prblem
The reel has always been a little noisy, which I hear is a trait of a revo, and the reel still has very good free spool. I believe the slight buffering noise I hear when I put my ear to the reel is just the fishing line traveling at high speed when I reel. I would just like to hear an opinion on the...

Baitcaster Prblem
A few times on my revo stx, I gave the reel a quick half rotation crank with downward pressure, and the reel made a high pitched grinding sound, the reel seems fine and cranks smooth with spool consistantly turning(as I imagine that damaged gears would not let the spool turn consistantly), but do y...

Best Fluorocarbon
What is the best fluorocarbon line for a baitcaster? I was thinking about getting Seagaur red label. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Ultralight saltwater fishing?
Sounds like fun. Just use the ultra lights in shallow water, they don't have any lifting power. Where your going fishing, you will probably be able to catch some pompano and snook.
Revo SX
Is the Revo SX any good. Tackle Tour gave it a bad rap. I would like to know if it is as bad as they say, or if it is just an exaggeration.

Re: Stella or VS?
I don't know what the Vs is, but iv'e heard that the stella is not worth the money. If you want a reel that's good for surf fishing, and has high line capacity, Iv'e only heard good things about the Fin-nor offshore spinning reels. They are all alluminum, have a heavy drag, and are priced around $150.

New fishing reel!
I'm getting a new steel jig reel for stuff like shimano butterfly jigs. I am probably going to be fishing in 200 feet of water for grouper. I need a spinning reel with high line capacity for under $200.

how to fish this river?
I fish the suwannee river in florida. I have caught a only one bass. The bass I caught was on a weightless trick worm. The river is about 1/8 of a mile wide, and gets to a max depth of 25 feet. The water is dark with 3 foot visibility from the boat. There is a lot of hydrilla that goes to around the...

I need a new crankbait reel and rod
Hey, I need a new crankbait reel and rod. I'm thinking about getting a revo winch and a medium action duckett micro magic, does it sound good? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Braided Line
I have heard of putting 30# monofilament backing on 50# braid. Would the maximum breaking point be the 30 pounds since its the weakest link, not including the decreased strength due to the knot. I would like to know if my theory is true or not, if not, may you explain why.
