Broken Zombie
I broke my 7' Zombie rod trying to jerk a Sammy out of a tree, yea it got away from me. Anyway it broke 2 guides from the tip and The broken off part is at the bottom of the lake because my line snapped too. I have seen a lot of pics of custom rods on here and there are obviously a lot of talented b...

Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
Since I don't really know where the line is where finesse ends and light bass tackle begins I will post my 1/4 oz and under cranking setup. This is a Ryoga 1016 with a TDZ 105 spool. I had to remove the brass shim behind the bearing in the side plate for the spool to fit, but it is still centered. A...

Re: Best NRX, Megabass or Evergreen Rod for Top Waters
Megabass I use the 6'8 Rattle Viper with a Alphas SV and 30# Super Slick, Evergreen I really like the 6'2 Kaleido Impala with an Alphas R and 12" Suffix Elite. I don't own nor have I fished any NRX rods.

Re: What are the must buys from the Megabass; P3, X7 & C40 l
Does it have enough backbone for the fat impacts? I usually use a MH for those.
It wouldnt be my first choice, but the 6'8 Rattle Viper would be all over it.

Re: What are the must buys from the Megabass; P3, X7 & C40 l
For the lighter side I LOVE the X7 Super Eiger. I fish 1/4 oz jigs on it regularly and it does great. It is softer than some would like I'm sure but has alot of reserve power. Its the most sensitive rod I own without question and very versitle. I can throw bottom contact from 1/8 oz drop shot to 3/8...

Re: Looking for a 1/4oz-5/8ish cranking rod
I love the Rattle Viper Tech Game for any of those baits, and I will reach over a few higher priced cranking rods to pick it up every time.

Gan Craft Killer question
I'm trying to learn about the Gan Craft rods but with the language barrier my research is not very productive. Does anyone know if and what the difference is between the Blue and Red series rods?

Steez 7.9 gears
I ordered a set of these gears in hopes of converting a 6.3 Steez 103, it doesn't work as you may know from research or trying yourself. Since I now have this set of gears I was wondering if anyone knew what they would fit. I would love to have a 7.9 TDZ but if they won't fit the 6.3 Steez I feel pr...

Steez / Alphas Line Guide
Does anyone know if these line guides are interchangable? I will use the try and see tactic tonight if nobody knows, I figured somebody has already tried so I was trying to save myself some time if it doesnt work. Thanks.

Re: Conquest 50 vs Megabass Zonda 68
I had a Conquest 50 on a 6'5 Steez Fle-x-Lite. It looked great, I didn't really like it but I'm not very into the bfs thing. I currently have a Zonda 68 on a X7 Super Eiger and that is super nice setup. I have no problem throwing 1/8 oz shakeup head with robo worm on 8# suffix seige with the stock s...

Re: Spools/tuning for mb Lin & Ryoga
I have a Megabass Cover Hacking Spool I use sometimes in my Ryoga 1016 with 30# braid for lipless and square bills. Its on a Megabass Elseil 6'10 XDTi and it casts like a rocket. I like the stock Ryoga spool fine if I'm making long casts over hand. When I get around cover or am casting crankbaits un...

Re: I ain't one to gossip - Jackson Rods!!!
I got to put a few hours in with my Basturd 6'10 ML spinning rod last night. Very nice rod and looks great paired with the 1000 Stradic FJ. It actually has more power that I wanted so I will probably end up selling it or trading it for a 6'7 or 6' in the same series. If anyone is interested PM me......
