“The blank for all of your bait-casting heavy cover bass baits. Whether it be swim jigs in grass, a frog back under a bush, or a low-cover flipping rod. This blank handles it and is so light it feels unreal.” – Kyle Welcher, BASS ELITE Pro Angler

Re: PLS Help with a Missing Guide
Looks like a Gunsmoke SiC MN or LN frame. Maybe a 7. MNSG7 or LNSG7. Order a 6, 7 and an 8 to be safe. If it is a shiny silver finish it will be an MNAG or LNAG.

Re: TVSTK Reel Seat
Perfect Fit is built around size 16 and 17 seats. It fits a lot of stuff besides Fuji. I have heard comments about the carbon tube inserts not helping sensitivity because of the arbor between the tube and the blank. I won't argue that a windowed seat with a core size gives direct contact that is dif...

Re: TVSTK Reel Seat
Comfort is subjective of course but as far as glue-up, combine the sleeve and seat, clean and set aside overnight. Then you're back to a single piece reel seat that can be arbored and used just like any other. Seems obvious but we get this question a LOT.

Re: Fuji PULS Palm Support Reel Seat
Some of the heavier power POINT Blanks have diameters that make using the size 16 carbon seat inserts impossible. Just keep in mind that the ID of the 16 seat is 15mm (subtracting .5mm of wall thickness for a net ID of 14mm) or 16mm on the size 17 seats. Any blank exceeding this OD will not fit. Bes...

Re: Shakyhead blank
This rod is tailor made for KR Concept. With a 2500 or 3000 Series spinning reel casting 15lb braid your layout will start with a KL20H at around 19-inches from the tip of the spool axle in a mid position. Place a 5 or 5.5KB choke guide at the same distance beyond the stripper (19-inches spool axle ...

Re: NFC pricing
Across the digital world, on forums and social media pages, POINT Blank is consistently ranked as one of the top 3 or 4 "best" blanks out there in its category. Of course, there will always be those who disagree.

Re: Point Blank PB731MHXF
You can "lock" the KT runner just like an L. The KT (in fact all K-Series guides) are tangle free. Not a big deal to some but it can come in handy in a brisk crosswind when classic wind knots form during a cast. If you've ever made a cast and had your line snap and watched you lure disappear into th...

Re: Point Blank PB731MHXF
A size 10L Fly guide (stainless ALCONITE) weighs .021oz, the same KT weighs .024 oz.
Sorry about the big size. Happen to have the 10"s on my desk at the moment. Seems the difference in smaller sizes will be pretty negligible.
