Yes...don't know about the internals, hardware, etc....may have to pick one up to toss around and compare.
Don't know about the comparison either, but Aruku is a great bait and worth a test.

Re: Best flipping jigs

I fish with some guys who will throw a 1/4oz jig on braid and a spinning setup in flipping situations. Sometimes they want something smaller/slower drop like that. Other times they want a full ounce whizzing by their face (even in shallow water). 1/2oz is the right starting point though...I'd sugges...

Re: Crankbait question

In our neck of the woods I want it to stay above the bottom/weeds if they are going to goop/foul me up, but hit the bottom if it's rocks, logs or sand. I'm no expert but have started catching more bass on deep divers in jersey over the last year doing this.

Re: Bandmaster classic Winning baits

I'm waiting to see how many guys will swear he was using a megabass 110...lol. The one tournament of the year you can be assured that guys are using sponsors bait and tackle is the classic, too many eyes to do something like that. I think Hank Cherry said he was using the vision 110 +1 for the firs...

Such a good night bait, and the strikes in the dark on that thing wake you up like none other. Bass get Hulk like rage when they see/hear/feel it.

Re: Ahhh...Fall is coming around...

Haha! Yeah, many times I fish when there is no one on the water! Young boy in the background is my son...he wanted to hold the bass but she was too heavy for him. The last two times out he hooked and brought in his first fish, learned to cast his spinning rod/reel by himself and went on his first b...

Re: Ahhh...Fall is coming around...

Nice pictures, I enjoyed the report. Be careful with the full size buzzjet on 12lb test...would hate to see you launch that in to orbit. Most people I know (myself included) use 20lb mono or hefty braid. Obviously a personal preference though, not saying that 12lb won't work for you (and that CXX is...
