new daiwa rebellion rods

Anyone know which of the models in this line up are the flipping rods? I'm assuming the 7'6" but they also have a 7'9" with similar ratings as well. Not a lot of info out about them right now. I'm sure its coming. But i like many others would like to be a little ahead of the curve I'm sure. Any info...

Re: Tatula Elite 701MHR CRANKIN'

i fish this thing exclusively with all my squarebills. i have 3 and am a huge fan. they are a bit misleading when first held in hand because of how stiff they seem. but on the water they're completely different. i typically fish 1.5's and baits of that size on it but have fished baits up to the luck...

Re: —Daiwa Catalina TW 4.9:1–

my only question is will the SV spool from a zillion TWS swap onto a catalina?

Re: Your favorite obscure reels

Quantum Iron IR-4CX and the Calcutta 50. use to beat the piss out of those things shore stomping the bay for spotted bay bass, halibut and such. both were the first 2 reels i ever owned with zero anti reverse and coincidentally my first baitcasters. still have them on a "retirement" mantle with bait...

Re: Deep cranking rod

cost effective way to go on it is the tatula elite 8ft cranking rod. i have 2 and theyre pretty legit. based off that zillion model theyre talking about. Is that rod thick at the bottom or does it look straight graphite until the first guide and then looks obviously glass? The Zillion looks like it...

Re: Any new additions to tatula elite rods at 2019 ICAST?

that rod has been out for while. ive been using it off and on for the past 6 months. pretty decent rod for rattle baits in grass and blades. Is the action of that rod any different than the original tatula (tat721mhrb) or zillion (zil721mhrb). I notice the rod lure weight rating went up a little. i...

Re: Chatterbait reel

tataula ttu100. steez feel and it'll take the beating without making me cringe because i didn't spend 500 on an actual steez. i use my steez' for the less abusive techniques.

Re: Daiwa Tatula Elite Shooter

the rod is built more for strait fluorocarbon fishing. designed more for tubes and skipping docks and stuff. he has a 2018 icast video about its purpose built design. pretty sure its the one the whole team did last year when they addressed the icast attendees in a q&a about each persons custom rods ...

Re: Any new Tatula Elite rods at the Classic?

cant wait. i hope its more of an extra fast rod than a fast action. i love brents 7'3" mh {its my everything rod) but id like to see it with a little more stiffer tip, to be honest
