Re: Taking Aim at "The One" with Ark Rods's Sniper Series
I guess at $129 the rod is an even better deal. Tackle Warehouse has both the spinning and casting versions of this rod for a sale price of $129. Sweet!!

Rapala Shallow Taildancer
Saw this the other day on EBay. I do well with the Taildancer Scatter lip and wondering if anyone here has tried these (maybe someone from Europe) I'm betting they would be good especially for Walleyes and salmon. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rapala-Shallow-Tail-dancer-STD-7-FT-Firetiger-Special-Color-R...

Re: Can somebody name these lures ?
Those look like custom painted knock offs. Usually mosty production lures have name /logo somewhere on the lure

Re: Any baits out there that "walks" by itself?
I find the Gary Yamamoto Tenaku Jerkbait walks the dog on a straight retrieve. Crazy enough I find it is Chinook salmon that like the action, my Bass don't go for it. When I examine these baits they look like conventional jerkbaits but chuck them out and wind them back and they walk the dog just und...

Re: Is Fenwick's New Flagship Fantasia a quality rod?
Thanks I looked at the thread. Seems like a very nice rod but I have discovered it comes with micros and, for me, that's a no no.

Re: Is Fenwick's New Flagship Fantasia a quality rod?
Sorry . The correct name is the Fantasista Regista from Abu Garcia. It is not made in Japan but in fact is from China, but they are expensive .

Re: Yo-Zuri sashimi jerkbaits
Those are excellent lures that change colours as they are retrieved. They are like a LC Pointer( a very good thing to be like) as far as action/profile appearance. For $5 they would be a score so load up on them. Pins Minnows are very good as well but they come in some strange colours so be selectiv...

Re: single hooks on cranks
Another option would be to buy some VMC Sure Set hooks (the ones with the 2 small and one extra large tynes) then remove the smaller tynes. That way you would have a decent sized hook that, weight wise , would not overpower the baits action. Personally i swear by the Sure Set hooks but only on surfa...

Re: Is Fenwick's New Flagship Really World Class?
It's interesting that the comment re this rod on TW claims that the 7'8" H rod is made from an NRX blank. I do NOT know how the commenter could know this or if it is true but it's interesting all the same. I own 2 original version Daiwa Cielo rods and I heard somewhere they were actually brown versi...

Re: Is Fenwick's New Flagship Really World Class?
I see that TW has the 7'8" World Class casting MH on sale for $199 and no other models. She's for sale before we even start. For you Yanks I bet that's a steal because Cals point about durability probably applies best to a heavier rod. I like Fenwick rods and own a bunch of Technas, Smallmouth...
