It all depends on the year. If you get a Pro XS, they get around 5-7 MPG, but my 1997 225 EFI drinks the fuel. I get about 2 MPG. Im thinking about buying a newer motor, the money id save in gas would pay for itself

Not to highjack, But how do you compare the 705cb glass to the older 705cb graphite rod? Right now i use the 705cb and i love it but i want to buy more and cant find any. Ive used a few glass rods and didnt care for them, but i guess i may have to try it again.
