Re: Daiwa rebillion rods?
There is no plan to replace the Cronos rods but they are adding the Rebellion rod just above that price point. They brought in the BLX rods which area also above the Zillion price point and it's a question on how many if any more models they will bring in under the BLX line. Rumor has it they BLX li...

Re: Casting vs. throwing your back out
I believe even in clear water you do not have to make long cast. Accuracy plays more of a roll then distance. I fish a lot of clear water here in So Cal and I very seldom make super long cast. The longer the cast the less feel you have with your bait.

Re: Best Warm Weather Rain Gear
I have a light weight Columbia rain jacket that I have had for years and it is awesome. Being in so cal I didn't want anything super heavy and this was one is perfect for when it's not super cold. My other rain suit is also a Columbia that is insulated but not heavy. The set cost me $250 from a Colu...

Re: Daiwa Kage
I have a couple of them and I was surprised on how light these rods were. I have the 8'H and the umbrella rig rod. The feel great in hand. The 8'H has a Daiwa Lexa 300H WN and the umbrella rig rod has a Tatula HD. I really like the feel of both of these setups. I will say the 8'H is pretty stout it ...

Re: Favorite Mid-Range Crankbait (8-12 feet)
I have been fishing more of the cloud series and really like them. I use more of the crush for shallow water. My favorite thing to do is fish the Cloud 10 or 15 on 15lb line is less then 10 feet of water. Fishing it slow and bumping trees is awesome. The Crush50 has become a big part my squarebill l...

Re: Tatula 7'2" mh vs. Zillion 7'3" mh
I think the Tatula is a decent rod but I gave it up and now I have 3 of the Cronos 7'3"MH. Great all around rod. My main use is jigs to 1/2 oz and Ikas.

Re: Favorite Mid-Range Crankbait (8-12 feet)
I have been playing with the 6th Sense line of crankbaits and I have been pretty impressed. I used to use a lot of Strike King and Norman baits but I'm starting to make some changes.

Re: Comparison: Daiwa Tatula, Cronos, Steez XT?
Sorry hadn't been on TT for a couple of days. Work gets in the way.
I have all Tatula and Zillion SV's.,
I have not noticed any damage on my reels from my rods. I will say after every outing I take all of my reels off the rods and put them away.

Re: Comparison: Daiwa Tatula, Cronos, Steez XT?
Unfortunately my Tatula is just collecting dust as I use both the Cronos and Steez XT you mentioned. Cronos 7'M I use for underspins, soft jerkbaits and small swimbaits Steez XT 7'M is my go to for hard jerkbaits, topwater, squarebills and swimbaits. The Tatula is a decent rod I just choose these tw...
Re: Steez XT

Re: Which reel for a 1/2oz swim jig + 5" swing impact fat trailer?
You mean curls with at least 10 lb dumbbells. You might have to fight the ladies for them.,   I'm a workout fanatic so when I hear guys on here complaining about a reel the weighs 7 or 8 ounces it cracks me up. To each his own. I fish zillions and Tats so I have no issues. I use Zill...
