I put on the new 8 strand Fireline 20lb on an Abu Premier a month ago. It was very stiff for a day or two, but has been breaking in nicely throwing spinnerbaits. Cal... you didn't write what you don't like about the Berkley fushion trebles in your Dredger review, only that you thought they should be changed right from the box? I've fished several baits that carried the Fushion trebles and found them to be pretty decent.

Apparently some anglers believe the "best" knot is the most difficult to tie knot that only the most experienced anglers can successfully tie. On the other hand, I believe the best knot is one that is easily tied and can be duplicated repeatedly in all fishing situations...
