Re: 2021 steez ags rods
The trigger is too far "forward" for me either way. I had to sell my one Rebellion rod for that reason.

Daiwa AGS Guides
I have been a Daiwa fan for many years and have several AGS guide rods in the arsenal. I dont want to ruin anyones day but I do have a serious issue with Daiwa and AGS guides. I have only broke a couple of the AGS guides, but I feel buyers need to be aware of this fact unless Daiwa has changed their...

Re: Reel "Feet"
Well I ordered a Shimano SLX MGL 70 and it doesn't sit any further up the rod. The back foot is really short... I'll keep it, its a nice reel. Looking for more suggestions for exact models that sit up the rod further for sure. Just going by pics, it looks like the KastKing Speed Demon Elite may have...

Re: Reel "Feet"
Thanks for the replies. I have a few rods that I want to keep that don't feel right with Daiwa reels on them because of the trigger location. I will try putting a Shimano on them!

Reel "Feet"
Is there a particular reel or reel brand that the reel tends to sit farther up the rod in relation to the reel foot?
In other words a reel that sits further up the rod from the trigger. (not height)

Re: Ark Rods
I have fished the Honey Badger series Guntersville Special all this summer. It is my only Ark rod. Mostly fish Daiwa. +for the price point the rod is pretty light and not bad balance. A little parabolic which is nice for punching. Softer tip than lets say the 8' Ish Tatula Elite flipping rod. -Not a...

He said he was using a discontinued crank. Looked like a fat free shad to me.

Re: Daiwa Rebellion Rods 2020
I just found the rods on Daiwa Australia's site. The SB does indeed stand for swim bait. They have slow, mod fast, and fast action models.
