I would suggest a heavier reel than some that you listed, for better balance. I think Zillion variants balance well. The Zillion Type R is black, though not matte, and I think the red accents on the reel match the rod nicely. Might be a little fast for swimbait though depending on how you fish. And ...

Thanks guys. Turns out that you're right about not needing a deeper spool. The reel is a really fun little reel. Still getting used to it, but early indications point to really enjoying it.

Does anyone know if there is a higher capacity spool that would fit in the Aldebaran BFS XG?
