Re: fishing swimbaits deep
I LOVE slow rolling big baits in 15'+, for soft baits I like the 12" osprey and for hard baits, I fish my own brand.

Re: PB and biggest fish of my life !!!
Thanks again to ALL! Pike are my life, I chase them 10 months a year and have been doing so for many years. The big fish IS my current PB but that lake has kicked out 5 fish bigger already this fall. I will be back at it this weekend looking for that 50"

Re: PB and biggest fish of my life !!!
Since I caught the big bait sickness, I get a lot of trips with no fish, but when they come it is usually well worth it !!!Tokugawa wrote:Beautiful fish! Those are the "two bite" days that you long for.

Re: low profile vs round casting reels
Of all my reels, only one is a low pro. I go with the round for line capacity.

Re: fishing plastic swimbaits and swimjigs
I throw swimbaits all the time, I am just looking for that one or 2 big bites. Big baits improve the odds that when a fish does it it will be bigger.

Thanks ALL !! Of course I released both fish so they can grow some more. These fish make up for all my trips to this lake that have seen me skunked.

Re: Who's cranking with Yo-Zuri Hybrid?
I have it on ALL of my regular rigs and use it as bite leader on swimbait rigs. I love it and the biggest problem I have with it is when I need more!

Re: swimbait for clear water or not
I just change colors with water conditions and keep on fishin em. Natural colors for clear water and bright for stained. I am throwing 8" line through SB's and clarity seldom seems to be much of an issue

Re: Tiny Baits
http://www.dynamiclures.com/ I haven't tried these, but I think I'll get a couple. I like throwing these types of baits for stream trout. I have tried these, great price point. Fished the Colorado river with them Saturday and landed 5 species on the same lure. I had to change out the hooks, they ar...

Mine take a while, but I am not ordering stock products and I get larger quantities. Most of his stock stuff ships fairly quick, he is in on the East coast. Check out the pic on the testimonials page, I took it.
