Re: Where to get a Conquest 51?
Guys, I am in Penang-Malaysia and I don' think they are hard to get those conquest 51 and 101 at all but of course the S might be impossible and I am not sure if they are still available in the market here. I just got myself few conquests last week before price increased in SEA and I think it is ju...

Re: Kickin' It with Evergreen International's Frog Bait
My all time fav frog... altho they cost a lot but i dont use any other frog after using these, cept basirisky, mazzy and another Japanese frog which all cost more than the Kickers
But nothing beats Evergreen frog... cheap(compare to competition of the same standard) and great in my book

Re: Lures with cheap hooks anybody hate this
agree on the point that they should just sell the lure itself without all those nonsense(hooks, split rings) attached on it... i change everything on mine esp hooks, rapala split rings are big, bulky and good at rusting, Japanese have good split rings on them but hooks are thin wired but sharp. Btw...

Re: any conquest 101/100 users up in here?
not sure bout that guys, we often cast further or at least the same distance with non-dc conquest compared to the dc dc even been nicknamed as a handicapped/retard reel and are only for beginners or someone who is lousy with a baitcasters by some of my friends. so far for the the only real advantag...

Re: Shimano JP's answer to the T3 Air
I was so intent on getting a t3 air but now I'm not so sure. In the last year I bought a lot of reels, some new some older. I feel like reels are going backwards with time . e.g my T3 vs the the Ito ai. Here I have a 2005 reel that casts, retrieves and feels better than a 2011 reel. Likewise with m...

Re: Best Frog You Have Fished With
personnally like all the evergreen combat and walking frog series, good action coupled with superb hook up ratio and fish holding time, definitely a must try another would be deps basirisky. both comes with a price, but i think its very much worth it considering the landing rate of fish but the best...

Re: Shimano conquest 2012?
hmmm i prefer the classic conquest over DC tho
only downside is casting towards wind but the rest are all advantageous towards the older conquest, maybe sits a lil taller compared to DC+(new DC Ctq)
but till then... i'll patiently wait for a new conquest
