I think you could get away with a 4 power rod if your not fishing heavy cover with the frog and jig. If your fishing heavy cover, I would suggest a 5 power rod...either a 705 or 745. I think you'll like the dx703sf, thats what I'm using for shakeyheads and have no issues what so ever. Makes a good senko and tube rod also.
