Pao is a great guy to deal with. He and I have done business several times in the past, with a positive outcome every time. Nice guy and he always gives an accurate description of the items he sells.
I like the Zonda spool for heavier weights also, though it casts well even with lighter stuff (with 15# braid). The SV spool does handle lighter baits better, with virtually no backlash.
Bass Resource and Glenn, what a joke! He suspended me about 2 yrs ago, said I sold too much stuff there. Funny thing is, I never sold a single item as a result of that forum. 3 of his own moderators went to bat for me and he lifted the suspension right away lol! I have bought things there, though. A...
I have 2 SV105SH's in my line up that I use for jerkabits and weightless senkos. Would you guys pick the Alphas SV105 over the Zillion SV TW for the task at hand? I'm very partial to my 105, so yes, I would personally prefer an SV105 for your intended purpose. And I have 2 Zillion SV TW reels myself.
I will cast a dissenting vote here...the Alphas Variants are hard to beat down to 1/8 oz. and they are forgiving even in the wind (not to mention, they are nearly indestructible). The 5.8 gear ratio of the Type F and OG purple people-eater is just right for cranks, too, IMHO. And they can be had in...

Is the MX really that much nicer than the Ballistic? The T3B is a nasty reel. I like the flip up hood, spool compatibility and Magforce 3D of the platform. $129 brand new for a T3 MX is tempting if it's not horrid like the T3B. I had both. Yes, the MX is an entirely different animal. I burned rat-l...

Ditto, and the Legalis is the only reel listed with an aluminum frame. I have the 2500 and I think its a very good reel, especially for the $45-$55 price tag on many of the budget/auction sites.

According to a friend, it will throw down to 4 grams easily. He hasn't tried lower due to the rod it is on.
