Usually spend $200-$250 on a rod so this would be a step up and you guys have more knowledge combined than anywhere else so just ...

Megabass V. Evergreen
Looking into the megabass levante, and the evergreen combat stick. Curious to see what your thoughts are on these two rods. Also anyone with a diablo spec R, curious what you use it for and what it excels at.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Drag upgrade?
So additional question, I've ordered the drag stack and new Boca orange seals for it. However one of the clips on the handle nut cover snapped off on my Alphas 103, is there a reasonably priced handle assembly I can buy for my Alphas 103 or can i get that handle nut cover for it somewhere?

Crestliner Fishhawk 1750
So for the last year and a half I've been fishing from a highly modified 12' deep V that I bought. However a great deal through some friends just made itself available to me on a 1997 Crestliner Fishhawk 1750 SC. So I jumped on it, while it already has a trolling motor and graphs they need replaced....

Trolling motor
I have a Motor Guide pro series 45lb. thrust 12v trolling motor. however recently I've lost power on settings 1,2, & 4. 3 works but only if i have the motor facing so it'll reverse the boat and 5 always work. From what I've read it seems like speed coils are bad? any opinions or information on this?...

Re: Hair jigs
Nice, if I was gonna be in the area this summer I'd say we should hit one of those waterways up, but within a week of getting home after graduation I'll be moving to Cortland, NY for my job. Guess its time to find new waters, never knew the spillway from crooked creek had smallies though
