Re: Abu Garcia Morrum SX 1601 High Speed questions
I have one that I bought used for a good price. It was not very smooth when I recieved it, so I almost tried to sell again before even casting it. Instead I purchased some bfs air bearings and a shallow spool for it. I also purchased the 4 pin block holder with blocks they sell from hedghog studios ...

Re: St. Croix legend elite vs G. Loomis Trout Series
I picked up one of the Legend Elite Light power rods (70lf2). I have been searching for the perfect light action rod for awhile. I always liked the high end st. croix light power rods and could not find something quite like it. I did not want to spend that much money. The River Runner light power r...

Re: Megabass Shoreluck Limited
I had one, but it was too nice to fish with. I was afraid I was going to break it walking through the woods. Great rod though. Very light, sensitive. At least someone on the board is enjoying it now !

Re: St Croix at icast?
Avid inshore new color and guides. I loved the old brown color, but i like the new seafoam color too. Kinda throwback. One thing I've been seeing with thier rods that I don't care for is the large black winding check where the blank meets the grips like the avid x. I would prefer a metal. Otherwise ...

Didn't know that thanks. I recently purchased a daiwa dxw walleye rod that's IM7 and it's awesome. Felt better to me than the expensive loomis and shimano rods in store. I guess I never thought IM7 could be so great.

It states IM7 graphite under the description, but noticed hvf on the rod in one of the pics. So I wonder which is correct.IlliniDawg01 wrote:HVF graphite. Depending on the guides they look pretty nice.
