Re: What have you lost while fishing?
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.   But seriously, we hit a wake once back when I was around 12 yrs old and my dad lost ME out of the boat. We were going around 60 mph, so I skipped across the water like a stone. Wow... this could have been BAD... but since you'r...

Re: How do you keep your tackle bag from getting soaked?
If I'm a non-boater and rain is in the forcast, I carry a large plastic trash bag and will stick the tackle bag inside the plastic bag. Sorry, I just saw that you had mentioned a trash bag. I have no other real solution.

Re: Dobyns 2018 Ultra High End Rods
Back in January, I discussed the new rod with Richard Dobyns and stated that they were still working on the prototypes, and to the best of my knowledge, the Dobyns business is moving or has moved to Texas, so the move may potentially cause delays also.

Re: Dobyns 741
I use both, 741 & 742 HP spinning rods. My primary baits for those two rods are: dropshot/neko's for the 741, and spy baits, shaky heads, 4" weightless senkos, 3/8 dropshots for the 742.

Re: Boat shoes
I don't have a recommendation for a good boat shoe, however I also fish alot by myself and the places I fish have a boat dock. I load and unload by getting close to the dock, and using the big engine to load/unload. Check out this video of Skeet Reese doing the same, maybe it will help to keep your ...

Re: How do you use your Ultrasonic cleaner?
My ultrasonic also has a heater and I use mine the same as mentioned above... no painted parts - learned the hard way. All metal parts in a 50/50 solution of Simple Green and water. Bearings enjoy a hot tub of acetone.

Re: Gear swap question
I want to convert one of my high speed OG Zillions to a 4.9 crazy cranker. Do I need to order anything else besides the main gear and pinion gear? You're good. . . I changed one of my Zillion Coastal's to a 4.9, with a main gear and pinion gear swap. If you're interested, shoot me a PM, as I have a...

Re: cork sealer question
The cork will still need to be cleaned every once in awhile, even after a treatment of U40. Simple cleaners like; toothpaste and Fast Orange hand cleaner work great.
