Re: Plastic Hellgramites
I'm a big fan of the Lunker City Hellgie. It's fantastic on the dropshot or as a sneaky little ned rig.

Pyramid Lake, California....Help!
Hey fellas, I'm pretty new to California, just moved to L.A last year. I recently joined a club as a co-angler and fished a tourney on Pyramid a few weeks ago. Before moving from Illinois I always fished as a boater (sold my boat when I left), so, the whole experience was new. Needless to say I didn...

Spinning rod conundrum!
Alright fellas, I need a little help here. During a tournament yesterday my partner stepped on a couple of my rods and broke them  I chalked it up to stuff happens. Unfortunately, I'm down two Dobyns rods. I'm going to use the hassle free option on the Champion 684C, I love that rod. On the ot...

Re: Interesting new Cabela's Bass Reels
Thanks 21farms, I got the 2500 size I'm planning to use it on a Dobyns CoaIition 702 for shaky heads. Honestly couldn't tell you the busing size but I believe after looking at the Ballistic schematics that its the same set up.

Re: Interesting new Cabela's Bass Reels
Hey fellas, I just picked one up today. I decided to return the Procyon I got a few week ago, this reel sounded like it would be worth the extra 50. It think it definitely is. Not only does it look good, it has a pretty solid set of features. The knob is the same as the Tatula and.....it comes off a...

Procyon 2500 line roller and handle upgrade help
Hey guys, I just bough a Procyon 2500 for a pretty dirt cheap price. I'm going to use it on an also closeout priced CW 702SF(I love me some black Friday deals!) for 1/8 shaky heads. It looks like its going to be a pretty solid reel. I would however like to add a few bearings. What I'm looking to do ...

Re: Best wacky jig head
I use the Buckeye flick-it. I've tried a ton and this one seems to get bit the most. The football shaped head gives it a different wobble.

I like using Zoom: Fish Doctors, Centipedes, Flukes(this works really well on Fall smallies) and Berkely Wacky crawlers.

Re: Fenwick river runner 6'2" SL
Thanks for the feedback fellas, I'm glad you mentioned small inline spinners rickman. Those and small cranks are what I primarily bought the rod for, I figured it would sling the 0 size Mepps spin flies and tiny cranks pretty far. I've also ordered some 1/32 oz wacky jigs and small worms too. I thin...

Fenwick river runner 6'2" SL
Hey guys, I just picked up the 6'2" SL River Runner on amazon for 75$. I was intending to buy the 6'8" UL but they had this one for super cheap because it was returned. I decided I couldn't pass it up. I just got in the mail yesterday and it seems to have an extremely light action, it is my first UL...
