Re: Stella Handle
Thanks for the help citybanner. After I made it home from my weekend on the big pond last night, I got out my good flashlight and went to searching. It was in the grass next to the driveway. I had loosened it to get the reel to be a little smaller profile to fit in the rod locker better and must hav...

Stella Handle
So this is a first for me…. Did some tackle prep last night, loaded the boat, drove 2 hours to Lake Erie this morning, and when I get here, one of my Stella’s is missing a handle…. Uh, what? it’s an FE series in the 3000 size with the paddle handle. Can anyone point me in the right direction of wher...

The best show?
What is usually the best show to see the latest and greatest? Is it ICast? I noticed that a lot of companies also introduced new products at the Classic Expo.... From those that have had the opportunity to do both, which is the better option?

What's your favorite spybait?
I've always used offerings from Duo Realis, but recently picked up some from Spro, and from the Storm Arashi line. What else should I make sure to check out this year?

Re: Okashira Screwheads- what swimbait?
One thing that seems to help with keeping the baits from being torn up is a dab of glue to help keep the bait from coming down the shaft of the hook on a bite.

Are they really though? Best fit and finish of any rod I've laid hands on, other than customs.hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 8:09 pmMegabass rods were already overpriced, not to mention the ongoing breakage issues. They are irrelevant at this point, imho.

I've held a couple of these and they are certainly nice for the price point

Looking for a tackle bag
That will fit Falcon FTO700 series boxes? they are just slightly longer than a 3600 box so bags made to hold 3600 boxes are too small and bags made to hold 3700 series arent right either. Ideally id like to find something similar to the KVD Speedbags - something that will hold maybe 3-4 boxes with n...

Wondering if anyone might have some info they can share on publicly accessible water (from shore) in the area, as well as any local bait/tackle retailers, and what might be in the area the first week of June? Staying in the West Ashley area

Re: Rod and reel heaven
I've been throwing them on a heavier medium Croix casting rod, but..... I'm starting to transition more to spinning tackle just because one, I enjoy it more, and 2, I have the option of stopping and switching retrieve hands if desired.

Re: Rod and reel heaven
I posted earlier about really liking this setup, but I forgot to mention, if it came down to having ONLY one nice setup for fishing, I would take a maxed out top of the line spinning setup like this. For the fishing I do, having the ability to present finesse lures with the drag to back em is key. ...

Re: Shimano Loomis Conquest rods
I want to start off by saying the conquest is bueatiful. The craftsmanship was perfect as far as I could tell the rod had no blemishes. I was surprised that the conquest did not come with a rod sleeve like my nrxs, being that the conquest is suppose to be the new flagship rod. Besides the rod sleev...
